This is a scarce key date 1921-D Mercury Dime. The second toughest date to find after the 1916-D. Diameter: 17.9 millimeters Weight: 2.50 grams Composition: .900 silver, .100 copper Edge: Reeded Net Weight: .07234 ounce pure silver. Please look at the scan and grade the coin for yourself as this is the actual coin for sale. I do not attach a grade to the coin as grading is very subjective and I am by no means an expert. One person may grade a coin as VG while another one grades it as FINE so I will leave that up to you to grade the coin based on the scan. This is a very nice looking coin and would be a great upgrade or addition to any collection. NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY SILVER! More than just the SILVER content, you're adding RARITY, AGE, CONDITION, and intrinsic BEAUTY when you invest in COINS! Value in this coin is found in its scarcity, age, and condition, but also, in the value of the SILVER content! The 90% Silver Dimes have a net composition of .900 SILVER and .100 COPPER. Each dime contains .07234 troy ounces of silver. This makes these coins valuable to anyone wanting to convert their inflation-consumed cash, stocks, money market accounts, etc, by investing in the SILVER (not to mention the COPPER) coin market. The coin is of interest for its numismatic, historical, and metallurgical value. Vast numbers of these have been melted down for their silver content which will decrease the amount of coins available and increase the value of the coins. A truly historical numismatic specimen. Of interest to collectors and investors. $75.00 859/433-7752
