1930 Ford Model A Hot Rod.
Its not just another plastic-fantastic out of somebodys high-end custom shop
its the real thing, a rare, unique, historic, collectible all steel
1930 A-bone high-boy roadster, built with love and skill in the garage
of a well-known Southern California builder almost forty years ago.
Its been a California car all its life-- no road salt--
and while I am selling it with a really nice fabric top,
Ive never driven it covered and I'm not sure
any body else who's owned it ever did either.
Its no show car either although it could be pretty quickly,
what with all the goodies on it.
The cars a driver--it was built that way to begin with,
a reliable car that would kick over when you turned the key
and move down the road.
Its had three owners, I'm the third.
The odometer shows 36,000 and I guess Ive put in a third of that.
This car has never let me down, never stranded me by the side of the road.
I only ran the car at the drags once that was back in 02,
at the Antique Nationals.
Best I did was a 14.55, and I got a timing plaque
that Ill toss into the sale that I never mounted
the car should have run faster,
but I had a long reaction time (old eyes, old nerves).
