Here is 1930 Ford Model A pick-up that is done up in traditional hot rod style. Everything on this truck is either new or rebuilt. Hours of work and lots of money spent here. Runs Great .. Fires right up at the push of the button. OWNER get the thumbs up all the time. It is PAINTED satin black, not primer.
Starting with the frame, we have boxed front Model A frame rails finished to the back with square tubing. Z’d front and rear: fully painted in a modified 1950’s Nash green. 1941 Ford front end with split wishbones and a drilled front axel. All new king pins, axle perches, shackles, Posie spring: all painted black. F-1 steering box, shock mounts, all new wheel cylinders, brake lines, fittings – juice brakes with brand new master cylinder – mounted under the cab on the frame rail. Modified Model A headlight mounts with brand new headlamps with internal turn signals, brand new original style tail lamps. Brand new Mustang radiator wrapped in a 1932 original truck grill shell.
Next we have a 1960 390 Cadillac power plant painted black with a polished aluminum Edlebrock four deuce manifold topped with four Holly rebuilt carbs. It has all new linkage, throttle cable and spoon throttle pedal, air cleaners with elements, custom fuel rail with copper fuel lines. New water pump, rebuilt generator, new belts, radiator hoses, Petronix ignitor system, brand new – uninstalled – braided spark plug wires for that old school look, Custom built zoomie style stainless exhaust with baffles. All backed by a 1960 Cadillac hydromatic transmission. It has a 1956 Ford rear-end that is also rebuilt. It has a traverse rear spring with air shocks.
It is an all steel, 1930 Ford cab that has been chopped 4” and channeled 4”. It has a sheet metal floor and tunnel. New peep mirrors and rear view mirror. All of the hardware – door handles, window cranks are brand new. It has all new tinted glass, with origional style tilt out front window and the doors windows roll up and down with new window felt. All brand new wiring harness front to back with fuse block. Inside you will find all new Stewart Warner gauges including: a speedo, oil pressure, water temp, volts and fuel gauge. The fuel gauge is not hooked up, but the wire is run back for future. They are all mounted in an old Mercruiser boat bezel. Push button start. 1950 Ford steering wheel. It has self cancelling push button turn signals mounted unseen under the dash. It has a horn, 12v outlet up under the dash to charge the phone or a small heater. It has interior courtesy lights mounted up under the dash. The rest of the interior consists of a bench seat, floor only, and seat belts. It was the last thing on the list and owner kind of like it this way???? The bed is a Model A with an all steel floor from a 1970 Chevy truck. It has a polly gas tank mounted in the bed. The future plan was a custom built tank underneath. It has a new tailgate. It has custom lower side shirts to hide the frame rails. Everything is PAINTED satin black, it is NOT a primer. It is professionally pinstriped with matching green from the frame and silver.
It rolls on 5.50 X 16 BFG’s in front and L78 X 15 Coker Classis in the rear. All bias ply mounted on steel wheels that are also pinstriped.
