1966 A code GT Mustang fastback (it's a real GT car).
Its nearly done.

This is a GREAT opportunity for someone with basic skills
to finish this Mustang in their garage.

This GT fastback is approx. 90% complete.
It does NOT need any tlc or any major work at all: it just needs
minor touches to be completed (all original parts required are included).
This fastback is all original and has been on a rotisserie at one time (
started as a totally rust free car and was in storage for 30 years before I got it
the red oxide primer was still present under).
I am unable to finish it at this time because I have lost my trusted restorer (
I don't turn a wrench, only a checkbook) and I have chosen to sell it now as it sits.
You can save a ton by doing the final bit of work on it and buttoning it up yourself.
The best thing about this car is that is 100% solid
and original top to bottom with nothing to hide.
It wont take much to get this Mustang running and ready for show and go.
I have simply decided to give up my hobby for a while.
The paint is three months from new (factory color PPG Ivy Green Metallic under clear).
The motor and transmission have been completely rebuilt to spec+
and are in the car but is not plumbed yet.
The glass is excellent.
The pony interior is all original except for the headliner and carpet which are new.
Again, most every part and nut and bolt you need to button up this fastback comes with.
It may sound like a lot, but really it is not for someone handy.
The 289 motor, transmission, manifold, 9 rear end, 4v Autolite carburetor, radiator,
wheels, air cleaner, etc. are original to the car as are all the tags(fender, door, etc)!!
