FOR SALE! 1967 Ford Falcon 2 door Coupe. Car was originally a straight 6 with three speed on the column. Car currently has a 302 from an 86 Mustang along with a 4-speed transmission. Body is in great condition. Floor pan has no holes. Chrome and trim is in good condition. Never been in an accident. I have replaced the four wheel drum brakes all the way around completely. New drums, wheel cylinders, bearings, seals, and hardware kits. Glass is all intact. Car is very quick and will light the tires at the drop of a hat. Very fun to drive and turns a lot of heads. There are not very many of these type of cars on the road anymore and people are always asking me what kind of car it is. Basically I tell them that the car was the one that the Mustang was created from, and when Ford did that, well it soon became the death of the model name. Falcons were pretty much phased out it the U.S. by 1970 or so. After that the Falcon was turned over to Ford Motors of Australia and are still produced down under today. One little know fact about the Falcon is that the car Mel Gibson drove in the original Mad Max movie was an Australian Falcon called an XBGT. Ford of Australia did change the look when they took over production, but the Falcon is just as popular in Australia as the Mustang is in the United States. I am also including a 1966 Falcon Futura 2 door with a straight 6 cyl engine and auto transmission. Motor and trans are good, but rear quarters are rusty. I bought the 66 for the interior panels, buttons, knobs, etc. to restore the 67. Planned to complete the car one day but I am currently looking for a good home for both of them. I don't have the time to dedicate to the restoration and I would rather see someone else take them and complete the job rather that the cars just sitting there. Please contact me as soon as possible because with the warmer weather coming in, this little hot rod will probably sell fast. If you would like to see the pictures send an email request to ...... and I'll forward them on to you. I have about 70 pictures so you can see everything. The $3,000 asking price is 3K or best offer. I had one offer last week but the deal fell through. I would like to be able to complete the sale by the end of April, but sooner is always better! Feel free to make a reasonable offer. Thanks!
