This item has expired
1967 Ford Mustang "Shelby GT500 - Elanor" fastback.
It is an original factory "A" code car, V8 289 four barrel,
four speed, factory a/c car. The body is rust free and solid.
It now has a 5.0 (302) engine with an Edelbrock intake, carburator,
Headman headers and dual exhausts.......it sounds awesome.
It does have an automatic three speed transmission, but the clutch
pedal and hardware are still in the car (tucked under the carpet).
It can be fairly easily changed back to a stick shift.
It has four wheel power disc brakes.
It has the undercar brace installed, most of the suspension
is redone w/new front and rear torsion bars, and has new shocks.
Wheels and tires are like new. It has the PIAA lights.
The guages all work including the speedo/odo
(the needle does jump around a little).
All the interior lights work, as do the exterior (turn signal,
parking, brake, etc.) The interior is nice, mostly new/redone.
It has a Sony AM/FM CD player and two 6x9s that sound really good.
We bought this car from someone who was fixing it up,
we have done some work to it.. but it needs to be finished.
Mostly, it does not have any of the heating/air conditioning
and power steering components: the windshield wiper motor needs
to be connected. The trunk also needs a carpet kit and insulation.
It also has only been driven some 'test' miles.
