1967 Shelby GT500 Concourse Trailered
This 1967 Shelby GT500 #2935 has been meticulously restored
to MCA Concourse (trailered) Standards -
(just received Gold at MCA National Pensacola, Florida, March 28-31, 2008).
I purchased this car in 1996 with the intention of driving it as much as possible
and I put 30K miles on it in 10 years, it has been featured in Mustang Monthly,
Mustang Times and 2 episodes of American Muscle Car.
In 2007 I completed the total rotisserie restoration of this vehicle
and no attention to detail was spared.
I am a former MCA Gold Card Judge for 1967-1968 Shelbys
and SAAC Representative for Georgia
and as a consequence I take the authentication of these vehicles very seriously.
Per documentation and the Marti Report this vehicle was released by
Ford San Jose Plant to Shelby in 06/05/67.
428 Block - C6ME (see pictures), build date 7E15 (5/15), Heads - 7E11 (5/11),
Transmission - RF-C6AP-7006.
The motor is a standard bore block, and was honed at the rebuild with new forged
pistons, and features the original BJ/BK carburetors, original (button top)fuel pump,
05/67 water pump, correct harmonic balancer & pulleys, extremely rate fresh air
intake tube, original radiator.
The exhaust system features original resonators (see pictures for more detail).
Five original 1967 10 spoke wheels (note valve stem location).
Goodyear (reproduction) Speedways.
All chrome trim was polished or replated, original dash pad, correct AM/FM radio,
all Carlite glass, original 1967 headlight bulbs (that work).
This is my personal car, and I put a huge amount of time and effort
to make this one of the best examples of a 67 Shelby.
Every stage of the restoration has been totally documented, and I welcome any questions.
The asking price for this vehicle is reflective of the quality of restoration.
