1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible
This 71 Plymouth Barracuda convertible started life with a 318 engine.
It now has a 472 Hemi crate engine from mopar performance
and a 727 torqueflite transmission.
Engine has 525 horse power and 540 foot pounds of torque
with a 780 cfm demon 4-barrel carb.
Car has no overheating problems and has new radiator.
Engine has less than 1500 miles on it and runs perfect.
The rear end is a 8 3/4 sure grip with 3.23 gears.
Custom subframe connectors made to look like it came from the factory
and is much needed to keep the car from getting twisted
from the torque from the big hemi.
The interior has new white seats and new white door panels
and a new white boot that fits perfect.
Dash pad is original and perfect.
The convertible top is white and in excellent condition.
I bought the car from the original owner 20 years ago.
It was owned by a elderly couple that ordered the car
with everything they wanted from the factory.
She told me that it was the last 71 convertible off the assembly line.
I have known the car most of my life because elderly couple were my neighbors.
The car has always been garaged and never been wrecked.
This is one of the most solid Plymouth Barracuda convertibles you will ever find.
This is car is absolutely solid and rust free.
The floor and trunk panels are all original and absolutely perfect.
I restored the car for the second time 2 1/2 years ago.
It has absolutely flawless body and paint.
It has won best paint at 2 big shows with over 400 cars at both shows
and won best of show at a muscle car show in the Seattle area.
It also won an award at Goodguys Pacific NW Nationals
with over 2100 cars at the event.
This is a top notch car that is done right and is for sure a show winner.
The engine conpartment/door jams/trunk jams are as nice as the exterior paint.
The engine block and heads were also painted the same color as the car.
Also have original 318 engine and flat hood that could be made into a shaker hood.
An original 71 convertible are the rarest and most wanted cars.
Chysler only made 11 original 71 Hemi Cuda Convertibles.
Now you can enjoy one at a much much lesser price than a original.
