This is a set of very 4 unsual White Metal Snake (Cobra I think) Place Setting Holders or Menu Holders. Although I have listed these as white metal I have to say that they look and feel like silver but with no marks on them at all I cannot confirm this.
The back of the Cobra shaped heads there is a V shape which is actually the holder for putting in a menu or place setting name. The tail curves around to form the base of the holders. They are extremely well made and two of them have 2 copper coloured fangs which you might just be able to see in the photograph.
IDENTIFYING MARKS: I cannot find any marks so therefore cannot confirm their origin
DIMENSIONS: 2 inches tall, the heads are 0.75 inch wide and the total weight for all 4 is 4.25 oz (119g)
CONDITION: All are in good condition
REMARKS: An unusual set of 4 place settings/menu card holder that would certainly be a talking point at any dinner table
