Our Homemaker & Companion Services are provided for adults of ALL ages. For the elderly, new mothers or anyone recovering after a hospital visit or an out-patient surgical procedure. Our Homemakers & Companions have been screened by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for criminal backgrounds and Professional Liability Insurance is required. Driver licenses and auto insurance have been checked. References have been checked & interviews have been conducted to ensure that our caregivers are honest, compassionate, responsible, trustworthy, supportive, caring, kind, patient, reliable and have the ability to make the right decisions when necessary. We encourage our client's to interview the homemaker or companion prior to accepting our services. We continuously extend an open invitation to all active adults with the need to help others… Come join our Family Owned & Operated Business. I have been using Active Elders Home for over 3 years. From the beginning, I realized the quality of care their agency offered was far above those I had used in the past. Whenever I’m recuperating from surgery, a fall or any illness and unable to care for myself….they are there for me. If I have a Dr.’s appointment I know they will get me there on time. I have found their caregivers staff courteous, competent, congenial , cooperative and personable. Folks I feel comfortable having in my home, especially at a time when I am in pain and/or in need of TLC. My daughter appreciates knowing I have Active Elders to call when she is unavailable. The owners are eager and willing to discuss any particular needs or issues or concerns. Their fees are reasonable and competitive…overall however, it is the ‘satisfaction’ their services provide that I feel sets them apart and the reason I keep their number handy.

I have used Active Elders since 2007. Believe me, they are a gift from the gods. My dad is elderly and lives alone and I work full time. Knowing that he has someone caring for him has helped me to do a better job at work as my head is cleared of worry about dad. His companion, Violeta *****, is a wonderful, caring, loving woman. She treats my father as if he was hers. I can't say enough about her and Active Elders. I would recommend this agency to anyone.

I love being my own boss, choosing who I want to work with, at the time that's convenient for me, and most of all it's the gratifying work I do every day! I bring a smile to someones face by showing I care.

I have had the pleasure of meeting both owners.Both have the biggest hearts that you could ever find. They take what they do in helping others very seriously. They will meet what ever need that your family may need. I encourage any one that has a need for assistants, please give them a call. They are the best.

My mother just recently passed away. For the last year the ladies of Active Elders Home Help have been assisting me with her care, taking her shopping and to the doctors or just playing cards, talking and keeping her company. They are all kind, compasionate and honest ladies. My mother loved them dearly. If you are in need of this kind of service I highly recommend AEHH.

I have used Active Elders since Feb. 2007, they have always sent me qualified , Trustworthy people to care for my mother in law. They go over and beyond the call of duty for me. I would highly recommend Active Elders.
