In the old days clothes were dried on clothes lines.
We Brought them in to be sprinkled for ironing.
These sprinklers were placed in the neck of a water filled bottle,Usually a Easy to hold Coke Bottle
Clothes were spread on a table,sprinkled generously with water,rolled tightly then put in basket or "ice-box" for ironing. Sprinklers worked great
They are getting harder to find
