Beautiful La Jarita Gracia; Gracie, 3 year old, 14.1 and growing, mustang filly captured last year, from the heirloom, La Jarita Mesa herd-One of the oldest in NM. (Sadly they are all being capured out for cattle to be grazed on their reserve.) She has great width between straight legs, nicely set shoulder with floating, fluid motion & fast rolling walk. She should have very nice foals bred to a variety of stallions. Her herd has been DNA typed w/ some Old Spanish DNA. Adopted last year by me, and being tamed with the Roeliff Anon, Brian Neubert, Ray Hunt, Natural Horsemanship type of method; she is very gentle, joins up in round pen, friendly, easy to catch-comes right up(even in the dark) to be haltered in 9 &1/2 acre pasture.( Something that some domestically raised horses don't do!) Respects all manner of fences, even electric tape! Stands quietly to have perfect hooves trimmed, leads, loads.You can send her into the trailer.) . Natural Horsemanship and Ray Hunt methods used in training. Advanced Green, but moving calmly, and willingly under saddle.Crosses streams, great on trails, has been on cattle drive and around traffic. Low in the herd order, she has a willing spirit with a lot of try, a great mover over all terrain. Very kind, and will only be sold to a loving and gentle home.
