C.C.M. Mens 27in (tire size)Formula One 10 Speed Road-Racer. Appears to be a 1970`s Model. Reynolds 531 Tube Frame. Huret front Derailleur,Allvit on the rear.
The Center-Pull Brakes have the ARAYA Symbol.The brake levers look like Dia Comp but are unmarked.The Saddle
is off a GT Pantera and is slightly nicked but comfortable. Rims are ARAYA 27 X 1&1/4 w/c HP. (Stand-Over height 33 inch)I have trued and polished the rims, installed new rim tape and new tires. Inner-tubes have schrader valves.I installed a new front derailleur-cable. The brakes have been adjusted,cleaned-up and new shoes installed. Derailleurs have been cleaned,lubricated and adjusted. Handle-bars are cleaned-up polished and re-taped with cork type tape.I have touched-up some nicks and scratches and waxed the frame. Chain has been cleaned and lubed. This Bike would be a nice gift for the OLD-SCHOOL Hockey-player who loves all things C.C.M. a great way to stay in shape during the off-season.I`m not sure how many of these bikes are still around but it`s the first I`ve seen in many years.Thanks for looking ,Hugh | | | | |
