The ship strike clock is an eight day clock with a mechanical movement. It should be wound once a week. This beautiful Chelsea clock will chime every half-hour to the ship's bell code. With this ship stroke bell clock, once you know the code, you can hear what time it is, you don't need to see it. The barometer is fully adjustable.
This set is in excellent condition, with clock and barometer set being constructed with a very high grade brass, polished and lacquered. The mahogany base is made by Chelsea specifically for this set. It is nearly perfect, but for a small scratch on the mahogany base, right below the barometer which certainly does not take away from the beauty of this clock set. It’s a classic! Included with this set is the instruction booklet, the original winding key and a small screwdriver that came with it.
