Do people choose to be successful or is it luck? Do things just happen to them because the "gods" smiled on them and not on another or is there some other reason? Are millionaires born or made?
Most people WANT to be a millionaire yet few people actually believe they DESERVE to be one and their results show it. They are NOT the millionaire they want to be but they claim that because of circumstances and environment and problems and life, well, that's the reason they aren't one. In fact, maybe they say that they aren't supposed to be one. Maybe they aren't supposed to be rich and that it isn't the way life is meant to be.
The harsh reality is that you are who you are because that is who you have CHOSEN to be. You have what you have because that is what you have CHOSEN to have. The grades you had in school, the money you have (or don't have), the car, house, job, etc. are all because of choices YOU have made.
This takes an enormous amount of responsibility on your part [b]but the realization of this truth is the only way that you can make the changes you want to make.[/b] When we were born we had the ability to become like anyone in history except that we had parents who had limitations and these filtered down into us. We believed everything that was told us and we became who we believed we could become.
I beleive that the only way to truly change is to become like a child again and find someone to fill the role of a parent and teach us the way, encourage and guide us and hold us accountable for our actions. Everything else is way down the list when it comes to effectiveness. | | | | |
