Josie is a QH pony (buckskin) that I am selling as a companion horse. She is around 13-15 years old and isn’t registered. Broke to ride but hasn’t been ridden in a long time. She is around 13.2hhs tall, and can be a handful.
Josie was a rescue case a few owners ago and hasn’t learned to trust people again. If you can earn her trust, then she is very sweet. Has great ground manners but needs work on picking up feet. We can pick up her front feet, but have a hard time with the back ones. She will kick out when you try to pick them up.
This mare needs a gentle consistent hand that has experience with abused horses. I do not have the time or the experience to really help her anymore. She is a pretty easy keeper.
I am asking $200 for her but am very negotiable on the price.
I am more interested in Josie finding a good companion home then the money.
