I could write volumes of what I don't know about this bird. He or she (I suspect she) appears to be a healthy and well feathered, double-yellow Amazon type, with green-tinged feet.
The Amazons are intelligent and reputed to be the easiest Western-hemisphere parrot to teach to talk, but the former owner didn't. He/she does sing happily and loudly for the first couple of hours of daylight.
Amazons need and like a variety of raw fruits and vegetables, and irregular but daily interaction with you. TLC, just like all of us. This one comes with a large hammertone metal cage with several dishes and a few toys.
The present owners have decided they can't give this beautiful bird the attention it needs and deserves. They would like to see it placed with a loving owner who can appreciate and enjoy the handsome and personable fellow(?) it is. For the right situation, they might negotiate on price (I'm placing the ad for non-computerized friends). Please be prepared to pick up in Tulsa, OK area.
