"Kiwi" is a male Eclectus (Soloman Island) Parrot. This breed of bird makes a fabulous family pet. They are friendly and many people can handle them. Unlike many parrots that are single person birds.
I've had Kiwi since he was almost a year old. He's now about 7 yrs old. He loves to be handled will sit on your shoulder for hours (watch the earrings, necklace and eyeglasses - they're a big temptation to play with).
I hate to part with him, but my schedule doesn't allow enough time to spend with him. He's a talker and easily learns little phrases and words.

If you only want Kiwi and have a large cage with playpen...he's spoiled and likes to be up on top as much as possible. I will sell him for $750. You will need a travel cage to pick him up.
"California" cage with playpen on top - (grey), a rollabout stand with branches and feed cups, a small weekend cage (when we go away) and a travel cage (- for the wing clip trips to the pet store). This bird has many toys etc.
I'm looking for a great home that will be good for him.
Kiwi with cages: large home cage. smaller weekend cage (collapses), travel cage and stand and toys for $1000.
Smoke free homes only (smokes not good for birds either). Thank you.
