This is a very nice Large Silver Plated Pedestal Dish. This is obviously a very happy and smiley dish and likes having its photo taken as no matter what angle I took the photograph I could not erase the the face shape. Please note however that when not having a photograph taken, this face shape does not appear. Now back to the facts, this is a very nice dish with a wavy gadrooned rim and it stands on a spreading pedestal foot.
IDENTIFYING MARKS: "EPNS" W.B & S Ltd" and in a shield shape "A1" and the numbers "1032".
DIMENSIONS: 10.75 inches in diameter and it stands 2.5 inches tall. It is also quite heavy and weighs 24 oz (690g).
CONDITION: In very good condition with just some slight surface scratching which is only to be expected on a metal item.
REMARKS: This is a really nice dish that would look impressive in the centre of any table, sideboard or dresser. Fill it with fruit or it would make a lovely serving dish (particularly a pile of profiteroles - no wonder it is smiling!!!)
