Location: Long Valley, NJ
Redford is a very sweet boy but is still a bit green. He has incredible potential but he needs someone that is able to work him a few times a week. I wish I could, but I'm back in school and I just don't have the training time that he needs. I have been told a few times that he has FEI potential.
He is also a pretty powerful boy and needs someone that can use their body the correct way, as he HATES riders with strong hands or that are very aggressive. I have only ever ridden him in a loose-ring snaffle bit, and he goes quite well in it. Redford is the type of horse that loves to work and wants to have someone be his partner, not bully him. I've found that if you treat him well, he will do anything for you.
He is a great Dressage prospect and I have not jumped him much, but both his mother, father and grandfather did a lot of competition in jumpers. His grandfather (Bold Destiny) was a grand prix jumper.
