How Can Traditional Baseball Get Any Better?
With The New National Xtreme Baseball League Thats How!
Believe It Or Not - The New National Xtreme Baseball League is for real!
Baseball is known for its crowds, peanuts, Cracker Jacks, beer , hot dogs, and nine innings of traditional entertainment.
That's the only comparison between traditional baseball and the New National Xtreme Baseball League game.
With Extreme baseball, just a few feet away from the first pitcher's mound is a second pitcher's mound. On the first mound the pitcher winds up and throws his pitch and it's hit. The runner is sprinting to the base on an overlapping diamond - BUT - to his LEFT! In the opposite direction of the traditional baseball game.
Without any down time, another pitch from the second mound just a few feet way is thrown. There's two teams on the playing field at the same time! The second hitter runs the diamond in the traditional direction. There's actually two games going on at the same time!
League owner Phil Weidner, who is from Daytona Beach Florida, came up with the idea for Xtreme Baseball in 2006. He says he came up with the idea after playing in a men's league for about 10 years. The idea of playing the opposite way came to him because he's a left hander.
As of May 2008, he has a patent pending on the new game and ownership of the league which has presently five teams so far.
Experimental games have been played in Orlando Florida and Sanford Florida. About 800 people came to witness the opening games. In 2008 there will be games played in Holly Hill Florida as well as Sanford Florida with negotiations going on at a field near Athens, Ga.
The consensus of opinion is that in due time this game will really take off beyond a four to six team league. It's been said that traditional baseball has always been a purposeful, slow moving game and this is exactly the opposite.....a much faster paced game to keep fan attention.
As of May 2008 there are currently five teams.....Tampa Bay Black Sox, Orlando Dragons, Miami Phythons, Georgia Cannons and Daytona Stingrays.
Stay toned and we’ll give you up-dates as the new National Xtreme Baseball League progresses.
My name is Curtis LaPiere and I’ll be at all the 2008 games and give you up-dates on how the game is played and how baseball fans react to this new style of baseball.

By the way, are you a ball player? If you are you really need to read this ebook:
