You know that feeling you get down in your gut when you realize your past client just listed their house with another Realtor. If you have been in this business long enough it happens to all of us at some point, right.
You spend days beating yourself up, asking yourself why, you thought they were your clients after all the transaction went so smooth, you went above and beyond to make their transaction a easy one. They loved their new home you got along so well with the whole family and even their dog.
Now you have to take a step back and think, you sold them the house 5 years ago. How good of a job have you done keeping in touch with them? Do you pick up the phone and give them a call once a month? Are they on you Holiday card list do you even have a Holiday card list? Or are you sending them an email once or twice a year, letting them know that you just listed a home in their neighborhood.
You know with thousands of emails we get these day that most of the time those emails gets deleted before they get opened. Think about it how much junk email or spam do you get, and do you open them?

In about 4 days your personalized card will show up in their mail box, they always get opened and you will likely get a call from you clients saying thank you (another personal touch). Not to mention all their friends and neighbors they will talk to about this personal touch.
