I bought this crock at a Breezewood barn sale in the early 1970's and I would like to sell it, 40 yrs. later. It certainly is a one-of-a kind, with a pronounced bulge and a hot spot where it was fired too close to the heat in an outside wood kiln. It is definitely misshapened, but it's an enjoyable crock to look at and to wonder how it was saved from the being thrown away. It has a few specks out of the top but that seems to only enhance it's attractiveness. I'm 80 years old and have lived with this crock for over 40 years and I still smile everytime I see it settin' in my front room. It sure isn't a perfect piece of pottery, by a long shot, but it's a loveable one and so much a part of our past.
