This Beautiful Vintage 1978 Ladies Continental has been completely rebuilt
Including Rebuilt Crank with polished Sprockets and Chain-Ring Guard. Also rebuilt Head-Set de-greased,re-packed and rebuilt. All the cables (shifter and brake) have
been replaced with new. New Schwinn Tires have been installed. Tubes have been water-tested, no holes no patches. A New Schwinn Comfort Seat has been installed.
I replaced the handle-bars with a nice light-weight, freshly polished set off a Nishiki. Also installed New Cork Type handle-bar tape. Brakes were removed, and
polished and re-mounted with new brake shoes.The Paint is awsome considering vintage. derailleurs are Schwinn Approved (made in France). Also removed and de-greased, re-mounted and adjusted. The Decals are flaking away due to age I might suggest removing them all together. The rims have been trued and polished.
As were the chrome forks (polished). It has a quick-release front hub, but also has safty braces that hold the front wheel on. Doesn`t make sense, but it is correct. I have a lot of hours invested in this restoration as well as a few dollars too. This bike needs nothing but a new owner. I don`t refurbish many girls bikes, but this bike really impressed me with it`s beautiful paint. Someone really took good care of this bike before parking it (indoors).
