Life Skills Workshop, Inc. strives to help women achieve life success. For the women whom we serve -- who have been homeless, are in recovery from substance abuse, have been incarcerated or are survivors of domestic violence -- this success can be achieved in many ways.
Our goal is, and always has been, to provide a workshop series, one-on-one mentoring, and other services and support to help these women secure and maintain employment, to maintain personal health, to develop positive social skills and to engage in positive relationships.
Each month we distribute business clothing to job readiness workshop series graduates and to women referred to us by service agencies. During the job readiness workshop series, a consultant helps women to select a wardrobe of clothing from the Clothes Closet.
**If you would like to donate women's business clothes to our Clothes Closet, please contact us for an appointment.
Only seasonal business attire for women is accepted, and items should be professionally dry-cleaned and on wire hangers. Donations are tax-deductible and we will provide you with a receipt.
