Cuddle your baby in classicly elegant style with this double layer reversible dupioni silk sling in rich navy and deep French blue. Detailing includes a narrow navy band with contrasting stitching. The shoulder is designed with overlapping pleats, which help to naturally spread the sling across the wearer's back and help to distribute baby's weight evenly.
When you pick silk up, there is hardly any weight at all, yet strength is not sacrificed. Although extremely lightweight and airy, the dupioni silk has the amazing strength of the natural silk fiber. It is breathable, making it ideal for use in any climate at any time of the year. It is also a "grippy" silk, meaning that it won't slip in the rings.
Silk can be either hand washed or, contrary to normal thinking, machine washed on delicate cold. Machine washing will soften the fabric and create a duller look. Always try spot cleaning first. Maintain normal diligence in checking over your sling for signs of wear also. Hang to dry (unlike what the tag will say =)!) These slings are @ 25.5 inches wide by 78 inches long - I try to be generous with length on the silk to allow for shrinkage when washed. If you need a longer sling, convo for availability. A $6.00 charge would apply.
