I am fostering a semi feral cat that I had been feeding for a while. He is now neutered, has his shots and is FIV/FeLV negative and uses the litter box perfectly. He is probably about 3-4 years old and is perfectly healthy. He is a lovely cat.
I am going to be moving very soon, and I am not sure if he has other sources of food available to him if I release him back here. I wish I could take him with me, but I am moving to Hawaii which has a whole bunch of quarantine regulations for which one has to prepare for for months in advance as I have had to do with my cats. I do not want him to starve or freeze to death when I am gone. He lets me pat him on his head,scratch his ears etc., so I think he will be tamed quite quickly but, is still slightly afraid of me. He has never tried to bite me or swat at me.
