I will accept any type of bird that you can no longer care for, for whatever reason it may be. Tame, Untame, former breeders, sick, feather pluckers. It does not matter we do not discriminate against any birds. I am a small non profit privately owned rescue. All birds that come here will remain here forever. All of the birds here are in large cages, though we prefer their cage and or toys to remain with them during the transition period. They will be allowed out of their cage all day. They will be switched to a healthy varied diet if not already on one. Their diet will include pastas, beans, sprouts, fresh fruits and veggies, Birdie Bread and Pellets available at all times. Larger Species will recieve nuts as treats. All of the birds are seen regularly by an excellent avian vet. We never Sell, Breed or Adopt the birds that come here. We will pick up your bird if located close, or we can arrange shipping depending on the weather. I understand this decision can be difficult and I will help any way that I can.
