This mare has produced 4 beautiful foals. Show quality. She was being shown in pleasure classes when we purchased her. We have used her for pleasure riding and mostly for breeding. She has 2 foals from 222 and 1 from Simbolo de Besilu and 1 from Capuchino line.
She can be fino but would not win at Nationals. She could enter smaller shows and do classic fino with trainining. She is high energy and has a huge heart to please both working with her on the ground and under saddle. She is not a horse for a novice rider.
Her bloodlines include Ensueno de Colombia, Majestuoso, Dalia, Contra-Sucesor, Mariachi.
She is a beautiful chestnut and has had no health problems. She is a very easy keeper. She stalls well and loves pasture turnout.
She has not been trailered recently but does well.
She does well with bathing, grooming, clipping, is fine with trimming her feet. She is a wonderful mare with her babies. She is a very affectionate horse who needs a loving home.
Tonica had an accident with a farrier just before we purchased her. The farrier hurt her eye and as a result she had surgery. This eye is blind. Details given upon request. This does not in any way affect her ability to take care of her babies. She has never hurt a foal in any way. It is amazing to watch her with the foals both inside and outside. She is more cautious while riding but with a good rider and more time under saddle she would be no problem. We purchased her to raise babies not to use for pleasure or for a show horse. However, we have ridden her and she gives her all.
The only reason I am selling her is because my husband passed away.
