Meet Nox, Panda, and Fluffy:
Nox, Latin for Night, is a beautiful young male black cat with yellow eyes. He has a sprinkle of white hairs under his chin. Nox is a small adult. Shelter workers guessed that he is probably around 1 year old. Nox is neutered and up to date on his shots through October 2010. He has also been treated for tapeworms. Nox is a loving boy. He likes to play with my hair and roll around on my lap. He likes to put his feet on my shoulder so that I will pick him up. He is very tolerant of handling and would probably do well with children. He likes our other cats and he ignores our dogs. Nox was pulled from a local animal shelter one day before his scheduled euthanasia. We feel that his life is just too precious not to deserve a second chance.

Panda is a 7 year old, black and white, spayed female cat. She is up to date on all shots through July of 2010. She is a small girl weighing about 5-6 pounds. Panda is very interactive. She "talks back" when you speak to her or pet her. She enjoys playing with her laser light and other interactive toys such as my feather duster and a fish on a rope. Panda needs a home where she can enjoy both play time and lap time. She will need to be the only female cat in the house as she is aggressive with other females. She ignores our dogs except when they enter her personal space and is very friendly with our male cats. Panda would probably do well with children.

Fluffy is an absolutely beautiful solid white, medium hair, male cat with blue eyes. He is 2.5-3 years old. He is not deaf. We believe he may be a true albino as his eyes flash red in pictures. He is up to date on all shots through October 2010. Fluffy can be a little shy around strangers but once he warms up to you he is a real joy to have around. He loves to "talk" to us, to roll over on his back for attention, and to be brushed. He gets very excited when we get the brush out. Fluffy enjoys playing with the laser pointer, catnip toys, balls, and just about anything that moves. He likes interaction though. He can lose interest pretty quickly if whatever it is stops moving. Fluffy has developed a behavioral problem that is somehow related to our oldest female cat. He seems both intimidated by her and aggressive towards her. We believe the dynamic between them has caused Fluffy to start urinating outside of his litter box. Yes, we have ruled out medical conditions. Fluffy may do best in a single cat household and would be unlikely to do well with small children. Fluffy may do fine with other cats as he seems to enjoy the company of all of our cats but one. We are willing to allow a one month trial period for Fluffy to ensure that he fits into your home.
Please email for pictures. All three cats must go to indoor homes. We are asking a $20 rehoming fee for each cat to ensure they go to good homes. We will deliver them anywhere within the Burlington city limits.
