ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The POWER INTERRUPT MONITOR protects your electronic
equipment and computer from BOTH a positive and negative AC line power transient and power interrupt condition. If a momentary line interrupt condition is not detected, the electronic equipment power source can generate an internal high power surge. This internal power surge can damage or weaken sensitive components within the equipment and also corrupt and cross?link critical program files and data. The POWER INTERRUPT MONITOR detects a momentary negative AC power interruption, greater than 1 cycle (1/60 second), and permanently removes AC line power from the equipment, thereby eliminating an internal power surge. The input power to the equipment remains disconnected until manually reset.

The MONITOR plugs into any AC convenience outlet and the computer, TV or equipment plugs into the AC receptacle on the MONITOR. To install and operate the monitor, TURN OFF all equipment and check that the monitor 15 ampere CIRCUIT BREAKER is in the reset position. Depress the red RESET Push?button on the monitor and the green monitor LED lamp will illuminate, indicating a normal AC condition. The LED indicator lamp will go out when an AC power interrupt condition is detected.
