Silver Fish Slice George III London 1810. This is a good heavy solid Silver George III Fish Slice. It has an attractive pierced decoration to one side of the slice and it has an armorial of a goat (I think) eating a branch engraved on the top of the handle.
Assay Office: LONDON
Date: 1810
Makers Marks: William & Samuel Knight
Dimensions: 12 inches long and 2.75 inches wide at its widest point. It is of a good solid weight and weighs 6.1/8 oz (173g)
Condition: It is in good condition but if you look very very closely and run your hand over the slice there is a slight impression to the base but to be honest you would not notice it
Remarks: A good 198 year old solid silver fish slice, a must for any fish lover that would look impressive when in use
