Silver Oval Engine Turned Compact which is stamped "Sterling 925 S F". It has a very attractive and stylish engine turned decoration covering the front and the back with a very nice ornate blank cartouche on the front. It has a lovely curvy edge and when opened it has a very pretty engraving surrounding the mirror and the actual powder compartment. It still has the original mesh which makes it a little more collectable. It measures approximately 3.5 inches long and 2.5 inches wide. It is in good condition with just a couple of little shallow surface dings to the back but these are only minor. This really is a very nice silver compact of a good weight and a very pretty design and a must for any collector.
