This is a Solid Silver Water Jug which carries hallmarks (although a little rubbed) for Chester 1902 and Makers Marks for Z Barraclough & Sons. It is a nice shape with a fluted rim, simulated decorative wooded handle and finial and it stands on 3 pad feet. It measures approximately 7 inches tall and 5.75 inches wide from lip to handle. It is of a good solid weight weighing approximately 12.25 oz (346g). Considering its 104 years of age it is in good condition with just a little area of very minor scratches just to the right of the handle, but these are very small, but felt I had to point them out. The inside is very clean and looks as if it has hardly been used. This is a lovely solid silver water jug and ideal for use or a lovely addition to any collection.
