MY Checking--Teen Checking Accounts (for ages 15,16 & 17 years old) The goal is to teach the future of tomorrow how to write checks & balance their budget, hence becoming “Financially Responsible”.
Johnny Appleseed Accounts (up to 12 yrs. old) Savings accounts for the younger children. This will teach kids that “A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned”.
Rewards for Good Grades (up to grade 12 & limit 4 per school year) SLCU wants to reward those that do well in school! Report Cards that have a GPA of 3.0 or equivalent Southern Lakes Credit Union will deposit $5 into their account.
MY CD/Add On Certificates of Deposit: This account is for all ages and can be used to get a head start on the rising costs of college. We devised a CD that acts like a saving account where you can add to it anytime and let the interest accrue.
Any of the accounts opened listed above SLCU will deposit the first $5!
