This is an absolutely stunning Spanish Silver Very Decorative Wine Ewer which certainly has the WOW factor. It is stamped on the base with 2 marks, one a 5 pointed star and the other some sort of insect and also "Made in Spain 915 or 975/000"
It is heavily embossed with Vine Leaves and Grapes on a matted background with a lovely scroll handle amd the same vine and grape decoration on the stopper.
It measures approximately 14 inches tall (including the stopper) and 7 inches wide from the wide lip to the handle and the body is 6 inches wide at its widest point.
It is in very good condition with just one slight indentation in the body, but to be honest this is so highly decorated you don't even notice it.
I cannot emphasise what a stunning and impressive item this is, and just imagine the comments from your guests when you serve the wine from it. Even when not being used it is a beautiful display piece. If it does not sell then I am very tempted to keep it for myself as this is a one off.
