After years of having my young son jump all over his bed, my bed and the living room furniture, we decided to invest in a trampoline...and haven't looked back! After a day spent having to sit still at school, he heads straight for the trampoline to work of some extra energy, and the springs on our indoor furniture remain safe...during the summer at least.
You don't have to invest in an Olympic standard piece of equipment in order to enjoy the bounce. These days, there's a trampoline for everyone; from the tiny tot's nursery trampolines, to the 6ft tramps by Jumpking that will hold an adult, but are designed for small space, right through to the giant 16ft trampolines produced by Poly-Steel. Other popular trampoline manufacturers include Variflex who've produced a unique springless version of their trampoline, and Hedstrom.
When used correctly, there's no reason why bouncing on a trampoline shouldn't be an extremely safe activity, but for extra peace of mind, you can often purchase a enclosure for your trampoline. This is a net which fits onto the trampoline in order to to prevent spills off the equipment. Other useful accessories include ladders to aid access to the equipment and weather covers.
All domestic trampolines are easily assembled and pack up easily for the winter. They're also easy to keep clean and are water resistant.
We've produced a guide to a range of trampolines available online. For more information, visit the link below.
Happy bouncing!
