This traditional 1932 hot rod sits on a modified original 1932 frame. The frame has been strengthened with four K members and boxed where needed. The frame has been fitted with a custom front and rear cross-members to achieve this low stance. The front axle is a 4" dropped Chassis Engineering item fitted with 48 Cadillac brakes and located by a pair of modified 40 Ford wishbones. The steering is handled by a custom cowl steering set up with a obscure vintage steering wheel. The rear end is an 8" Ford located by ladder bars and pan-hard bar. The engine is a 54 Desoto Hemi mated to a 700 R transmission. The body is all original except for the rear quarters which needed replaced. All the structural wood has been taken out and replaced with steel. The body has been fitted with a custom dashboard. The body at the rear has been fitted with a custom made panel to finish off the body. A custom headlamp bar has been fitted to accommodate the original E&J headlights. This roadster has a new Walker radiator and has no problems with overheating. The rear wheels are 16" Ford fitted with 700 X 16 Good Year tires Front wheels are 15" fitted with 560 X 15 Firestone tires. This roadster was built to be driven and is a pleasure to drive on the freeway. Registered with a clear title this roadster is turn key and ready to go.
