This is an 8 X 10 black and white enlargement made from 100 year old EASTMAN DRY GLASS PLATES FROM THE EASTMAN KODAK CO. George Eastman invented the dry plate in 1880. It shows a little girl dressed in a black velvet coat and bonnet, sitting outside under a tree on an antique chair and holding her pet cat. This is an adorable picture and would make a great gift for the cat lover. It was taken in the mountains of Northeastern/North Central PA.between 1880 and 1900.The clarity of this photo is amazing considering that we had it produced from a 100 year old dry glass negative.
