This is an 8 X 10 black and white enlargement made from 100 year old EASTMAN DRY GLASS PLATES. George Eastman invented the dry plate in 1880. It shows two men sitting outside on an old crate playing cards. The advertisement on the crate says: "HEADLEYS CHOCOLATE PURE AND DELICIOUS MADE IN BALTIMORE". It was taken in Northeastern/Northcentral PA. between 1880 and 1900. The clarity of this photo is amazing considering that we had it produced from a 100 year old dry glass negative. This is the actual enlargement-not a computer copy. (The copyright label is NOT on the photo). The matte board is not included. Look at my other items for sale for more of these unique old photos.
