I give private voice lessons at the University of Illinois Music Building. I work with all levels of students, ages 12 to adult. I believe it is never too late to learn how to sing properly or build upon what you already know. I was trained in classical and musical theater in my home-town of Temple, TX and continued study at Oklahoma City University, where I received my Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance. I have been singing all my life and have taught voice for several years. I moved to Illinois to complete my Masters in Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, which is why I am able to use their facilities to teach. Along with classical music and opera, I have experience in jazz, pop, rock bands and musical theater, so if you are not comfortable or have other desires for what music you would like to learn, I am very flexible and happy to help you. I look forward to helping you reach your musical goals, whatever they may be! Lessons run for 30-45min, once or twice a week, depending on your taste and needs.
